Outside the Box

Joji and I figured out another way to hang a cattle fly rub -- using just one hay rack (instead of two). That's one less rack to move when we need to.

This one, on the East Pasture near the working pens, has become a favorite pit stop for our four young heifers when they're headed for the water trough.

As I mentioned before, there are various opportunities to learn new character qualities on the ranch. This one was a lesson on thinking (and hanging) outside the box -- creativity.
