There are days like today, when there's nothing really all that new or exciting to take a picture of and post on the blog. Just like the scene below -- I see this several times a day and have seen it a hundred times before -- a cow, a leafless tree, an overflowing pond.

But we didn't have any emergencies, accidents, or injuries. No sick cattle, no cows jumping over the fence, no broken water pipes. There's hay for the cows, there's fuel in the tractor, wood for the fireplace, and food in the fridge. The calves are growing, the neighbors are friendly, the water is running, and there's electricity.
God is in control --- all is well.
