Meet DeWalt, a Mountain Cur / Black Labrador mix. He currently belongs to The Smith's. They live next to a busy highway and are very concerned for his safety. Phil and I think that DeWalt will be a good companion on the farm, a loyal guard, and with proper training, a helpful ranch hand. He'll have lots of space on our farm to safely roam.

.DeWalt spent the night at Aurora Farm, accompanied us on the mule when we made our rounds this morning, and behaved himself well around the cattle. I am seriously considering making him a member of our staff.
