One of the purebred Angus heifers that we purchased last April (No. 10 in the pictures below), does not seem to have outgrown her being hot-temperered.

She still may, after she calves this winter and becomes a momma cow. I have named her, "La Salsa Picante" (La Salsa, for short), and am keeping a close eye on her.

We already sold her other two hot-tempered friends last April, "La Loca" and "La Bamba".

La Salsa We want to raise and keep only gentle cattle, so La Salsa's days at the Aurora Farm cattle resort may be numbered unless she comes around soon.
