A water trough must always be well-supported. Over time, the gravel around its base gets eroded by rain and trodding cattle (click photos to enlarge).

. Last Friday afternoon (12/4/09), seemed like a good time to tackle the "shore up the water trough" project. So I removed the hay forks from the tractor and installed the front-end loader bucket and moved a few loads of flexbase rock from the pile below.
