We haven't used our grain bin since I moved here last September. Since our friend, Jim (of JLOR Farm) is getting 50 of his calves ready for the NETBIO (North East Texas Beef Improvement Organization) sale on September 15, I thought this would be a good time to put the bin to good use.
Buying feed in bulk like this, instead of in 50 lb. sacks, is cheaper.
