Easy Movin'

This morning, Ken and I moved the cows and heifers from the Tifton field to the West Pasture behind the house. Ken called the herd and walked them up the lane, while I brought up the rear in the pickup truck. .

Walking behind Ken are Cinderella and her new calf, Howdy. It was interesting to watch as Cinderella stopped at the gate of the Tifton field and let the rest of the herd go first, to keep her calf from getting trampled.
