We bought Heifer # 112 from Brian Gilbert on May 14. She was one of 20 heifers that we kept for Brian here at Aurora Farm from August 2009 until last month. On Brian's and Jim's recommendation, we are going to let her get a little bigger (until early-July) before breeding her. .
Before then, she will be branded with the "Broken L Ranch" brand and assigned Tag No. 13.

She is a beautiful and gentle heifer and will be bred to our Wagyu bull, Abraham. If all goes well, she will have her first calf in April 2011.
