A Tour of the Premises

.
I moved the cattle from the South Tifton field to the West Pasture this evening to give the former a rest and to get the ryegrass grazed down in the latter.
.
But I had inadvertently left two gates open -- one leading from the West Pasture to the front yard and the other, a side gate to the backyard.
.
So, eight of our cattle gave themselves an unguided tour of the front and back yards, led by none other than Mama Molly.
.
This group of tourists consisted of: Molly (the mastermind), Joshua (her calf), Victoria and her calf, Victoria's Secret, Suzie Q, Abraham (the bull), Li'l Red, and Foxy.
. On the Front Yard
Just West of the Gate
. In the Backyard
Foxy in the Foreground
. Li'l Red in the Backyard
(notice DeWalt in the back left)

.
Good thing I had already shut the gates leading to the county road for the evening!
.
I need to work on my Alertness.
.
ALERTNESS - "being aware of what is taking place around me so I can have the right response." (from Character First)
.

  1. LOL, funny!
Foxy probably felt right at home in the yard. I'd often let her out to graze when she'd stand by the fence looking like "I want out!.Please?" untill I'd give in. LOL :)
