There are still several stumps from the oak tree that Phil Smith and Joel Anders cut down last October that need to be split into firewood. I did a few of the smaller ones by hand using the red maul in the foreground, but the bigger ones will need a log-splitter. One of the neighbors has offered to loan me his splitter for a day and teach me how to run it, but he has been busy helping build a fence for another neighbor.
