Autumn Roses

.
Our roses have been blooming nicely this autumn. While I was away for a couple of weeks earlier this month, Diane Smith came one day with husband, Phil, and pulled the weeds around each rose plant and trimmed the dead branches. Then, she applied some cowtea fertilizer.

Last Sunday, after inspecting their farm (JLor Farm) and helping put out hay for their cattle, Lori took some time to cultivate the rose mound with a hoe.

We are blessed to have friends like the Smith's and the Shipman's.
