All cattle go through a "Reception Protocol" when they first arrive. They are vaccinated and dewormed, and if necessary, branded and ear-tagged. By putting cattle through a quarantine process, we protect the health of the entire herd.
This is Brian, pouring a dewormer on one of his angus cows. While we have a squeeze chute (like this one but smaller) on our place, the one on the picture is JLor Farms' across the street.
