This is the Wood County Courthouse in downtown Quitman. It is perhaps, the most prominent building in town.
The City of Quitman is the seat of the county government. Other cities closest to us are Mineola, Yantis, Winnsboro, and Alba. The largest city is Tyler (about an hour away), and of course there's Dallas (about two hours). Aurora Farm is about 7 miles northwest of the Courthouse..
